Wait Debt
When a customer waits longer than you quoted, CheckMeIn remembers the minutes. The next time they walk in, your team knows - and can decide what to do about it.
Why it matters
Most front desks never find out that the person in front of them waited forty minutes last time. Wait Debt puts that on the card, from a quote that was real, measured against a wait that was real.
When your live wait estimate is reliable, CheckMeIn records the wait it quoted for that customer at the moment they checked in.
No reliable estimate means no quote, and a visit with no quote can never become a debt. Nothing is guessed or filled in.
When the customer is called - or served, if you skip the call - CheckMeIn compares the real wait with the quote and keeps any minutes over.
Left before being seen? Nothing is recorded. A visit nobody closed is treated as a data error, not a debt.
When that customer checks in again, the arrival card shows how many minutes they are owed and when it happened.
A suggestion to a person, never an automatic reorder. The queue only changes when your staff decide it should.
One button clears the balance, and your audit log records who did it and when.
Balances also clear themselves: CheckMeIn deletes arrival details after 90 days, and a balance goes with them.

No. Wait Debt is for your staff only. It never appears on the check-in page, the confirmation screen or the waiting room display.
From the quote it made when they checked in. The live wait estimate only quotes once it has measured enough real waits at that location to be reliable, and it checks its own misses as it goes. Until then it says it is still learning and quotes nothing, so nobody is owed anything.
Because CheckMeIn permanently deletes arrival details after 90 days, and Wait Debt is worked out from the arrivals you still hold. Nothing about a customer is kept longer than their visits.
Yes. You choose the smallest overrun worth showing, who may clear a balance (owner only, or owner and staff), whether the minutes and date appear on the card, and whether the card suggests serving ahead. You can switch Wait Debt off at any time; nothing is deleted, and figures return if you switch it back on.
